Verdie Wollen: DIY - the local library should have books or Home Decorating magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens featuring similar projects on this to help you get your head around it.The magazines are usually not available to take out. You can photocopy anything useful.Demolition yards even some council rubbish tips have second hand goods that can be reused. I'm thinking of fret work as in cut timber as in old fashioned scroll work or lattice timber painted white (french provincial) retro sheik. Just some thoughts to share. You have an idea in your head. Antone Youla: Remove the front of the drawers and use hinges and magnetic closures to hold the drawer face up when not in use. Go to home depot or lowes and tell them what! you want to do!

Donte Schoenhals: Remove the drawer fronts from the drawers and trash the drawer, itself. Remove the drawer glides (hardware). Build in whatever structure you need to hold your electronics. Hinge the bottom of the drawer fronts to the cabinet and use a magnetic catch at the top to hold it closed. The hinges will show, somewhat, unless you cut a rabbet (groove) to allow the round part to fit up under the drawer front. Without a rabbet, the hinge either hangs down below the drawer or the drawer stands out away from the cabinet....Show more
