Andra Oger: It isn't a good idea to plant orange seeds. Most oranges are hybrids and won't produce good oranges from seeds. Even orange trees need fertilizer or compost if they're to grow into a fruiting tree.
Cassondra Vanholland: yes. pANTS GROW ALL TE TIME WITH JUST SUN AND WATER, PLANTS NEED SUN TO GIVE THEM MINERALS AND IN TURN GIVES THEM FOOD-AND WATER HYDRATES THEM AT THE ROOTS WHICH IS FOOD TOO IT TENDS TO MAKE THEM GROW
Blaine Connett: no cause no matter what u do the seeds will fly away thrust me
Marylee Lucks: You might want to check out the Sunkist site and see what they have to say about growing an orange tree from seed:http://www.sunkist.com/products/how_citrus_trees.a...If you want to grow something in Florida and have a neighbor with a garden, ask them what is easy and needs little maintenance. If they have it growing in their garden, they may even give you some free to plant in your yard ... we gardeners are into sharing many of our ! plants with others who want to get started.*~ Good luck 'n happy gardening ~*...Show more
Kizzy Hett: Maybe you should try burying compost (food scraps) with the seeds as cheap fertilizer. Go Pilgrim-style on those orange seeds. Also, research century plants, which are thorny little cactuses that are pretty difficult to kill (literally) but look nice, especially when they bloom.
