Felicitas Phildor: Texas Home School CoalitionI home schooled my son. Basicly all you need to do is make sure you study. There are lots of materials out there to help you. You don't need to take any kind of test for the school district (SAT) or anything like that. You will want to study for the college entrance exam, or military entrance exam, or whatever it is you want to enter into next.Also, keep a record of your studies. You will need to provide a transcript. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just state what you studied.The school might be agitated with you and make threats. They told my son ! if I took him out they would give him all Fs for the year. As it turned out no one (college, military, employment) was interested in what they did. They only cared that he graduated from home school and was able to pass the tests and provide a transcript. Don't let them scare you.Good luck : )www.thsc.org...Show more
