Frederick Mccoach: There is no single education system in UK (there cannot be). They are all separate. Scotland's just rolled out its own new curriculum in schools. None of it applies elsewhere. Essentially they are all places of learning wherever they are. What exactly, how they implement this, who controls the schools (councils, private...), all likely differs.The Scottish schools are back from summer holiday at least a few weeks ago.
