accounting and payroll software for small business?

Marvel Mcaulay: "use long term that doesn't have to be updated" ALL payroll software has to be updated. Every year the rates and forms change, so the software has to be updated. Even payroll services (Paychex, ADP, etc) have to update their programs regularly. For the hassle, the annual cost is well worth it. What accounting software do you use? If you use either Peachtree (my preference) or Quickbooks, it is easier to just purchase the annual sevice.
