I think Trayvon chose choice 2) and got himself killed anyway. If Zimmerman can't understand that following a person can easily leave them feeling threatened then he has no business being a neighborhood watch volunteer or a licensed gun owner. He came out of that truck armed with a gun after following Trayvon for 5 minutes. Zimmerman tells how the boy was going after his gun. Well yeah. He thought you were going to shoot him with it. Zimmerman never identified himself as the police or FBI or Border Patrol etc, because he is none of those things.
