The issue is that there are many more available workers than jobs, which puts your husband at a distinct disadvantage. Temp companies will most likely pass on him simply because they can find plenty of workers who don't have convictions on their records. It's no reflection on your husband, specifically. You will be able to find jobs, but expect that it might take awhile and that you will most likely have to find them on your not and not through a temp company, which will be very difficult since many companies have turned to staffing agencies to fill openings these days.
