Male Dental Hygienist needs some help.?

Danica Timperman: I can not speak to the salary of a hygienist in LA, maybe someone else can. However I can tell you that a male hygienist is a hot commodity. Perhaps it is a female dentist looking to have a male coworker. Most dental offices have a lot of females working in them...and that can often lead to problems. Sometimes it is nice to have a little testosterone to balance out the estrogen. But the biggest reason why a male hygienist is a hot commodity is......they don't get pregnant, and leave you for a while and you have to keep their job open for when they come back. Continuity at a dental office is very important. Patients like seeing the same faces. So it doesn't help if your fantastic hygienist is off giving birth.Think about it!...Show more
