Is the vegetarian company morning star, cheap?

Timmy Bustard: Agree with first poster.. if you are on a budget, fresh fruits and veggies in season are your best choice.. they are at their peak quality wise and their abundance guarantees lower pricesMorningstar seems to be a favorite of vegetarians here but being processed and convenient, I doubt if they are cheap

Maritza Ebanks: Morning star products ARE vegetarian, they are not vegan though. Generally they are $3-$4 per thing. I don't think its that expensive considering what meat costs for meat eaters....You should try Smart ground, its equivilent to 1 lb of ground "beef" tastes like the real thing, and it is only $3! Well at my grocery store =)

Buster Buchko: Not really cheap but tasty. Try getting it on sale (rare) or just finding a cheap grocery store. The pizza-basil do taste like beef, but the vegan ones are nasty. Haven't tried the others.

William Vickerman: if you are a vegetarian you would know that morning star products aren't vegetarian.i! f you're on a budget??? why not fresh fruits and veggies?
